Dr. Ciarán Gilligan-Lee
I am currently Head of the Causal Inference Research Lab at Spotify and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London. My research focuses on causal inference and its applications, most notably in healthcare, privacy, and decision making.
My research has been called a “breakthrough” by Newsweek, and MIT Technology Review said it “could supercharge medical AI” and that it “is set to improve automated decision making in finance, health care, ad targeting, and more.“ My work has also been featured in New Scientist, The Times, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Sun, and Gizmodo, among others.
